Your gift funds free meals, tutoring and youth programs in central Brooklyn and the back office that keeps them running. Right now we are raising funds for the Marie Evelyn Charles Feed Your Soul Tour, free hot meals across Brooklyn on November 21, 2026 at three community sites.
Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Édé engages no professional fundraiser and pays no one a percentage of funds raised.

Serve meals, tutor, help at an event, or lend a skill — bookkeeping, design, translation — to a project that needs it. Tell us what you can offer and where you live; we match volunteers to the nearest program.

If you are already doing charitable work in your neighborhood and need a nonprofit home, we want to hear from you. We can sponsor a project when it serves an identified group of people in need, the service is free to them, and any benefit to a business is incidental.
Send us who you serve, what you do, and what it costs; we will walk through our five questions together and tell you plainly whether Édé is the right home or help you find one that is.

Tutors, cooks, counselors, wellness practitioners, trades: if you run a small business in central Brooklyn and could deliver your service free to people who need it, Édé may be able to pay you a fair market rate to do that under a written agreement.
Tell us what you do, your standard rate, and who you'd serve.
